Become a Muslim

What is Islam?

Islam translates to ‘submission to God.’ It is founded on the principle of monotheism, acknowledging Allah as the singular God.

This monotheistic faith aligns with the teachings bestowed upon all prophets, from Adam to Noah, from Moses and Abraham to Jesus, culminating with Muhammad, the final prophet (peace be upon them all).

The core message of these prophets has been consistent: worship God alone and forsake the worship of creations and ideologies.

Embracing Islam

Those who receive and reject Islam’s message risk eternal separation from God’s mercy.

Conversely, embracing Islam wipes away past sins, paving the way to an eternal abode in paradise.

Act on your belief without concern for others’ opinions, for it is your everlasting fate that hangs in the balance.

Becoming a Muslim

Islam requires a person to affirm the message of all prophets before Muhammad, peace be upon him, as well as the one and only divinity of God.

If these beliefs resonate with you, you are already on the path of Islam.

To formally enter the fold of Islam, one proclaims:

Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illallaah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.

This means I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.
