How to Become a Muslim — The Shahada

Becoming a Muslim is simple. You enter Islam by sincerely declaring the Shahada — the testimony of faith. No certificate, ceremony, or permission from anyone is required. Allah accepts you the moment your heart submits.

Ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah

I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
